It was THE DAY.
the H1 Hamster Race finally came!!
On the 12th of April at 11:40pm, 32 girls from 4H and 5 hamsters marched down to the bamboo courtyard to prepare for the long-awaited Hamster Race! (well the hamsters were carried down of course)
we were all brimming with excitement as we started to set up the tracks. even crazy freddy was bubbling with anticipation!

this video shows how we tried to get crazy freddy to slip into the racing outfit that sarah had made so beautifully! but he refused to get into it. ohwells.

before the first race we decided to have a trial run with alonso! it was the first time crazy freddy got to test the track! crazy freddy sped off really quickly! note at the start of the video, alonso was cruelly shoved by one of his trainers and was withdrawn from the race. but crazy freddy was really quick anyway!

and then, the time came for the start of the first race!! see how crazy freddy BLAZED the track to emerge CHAMPION!! told you he was good!
however the adrenaline probably got to him and he got third for the second race and third race. no matter, because he got into the championships!!

crazy freddy gave it his best but could not keep up with the young and energetic chase! in the end, he emerged FIRST RUNNERS-UP and we couldnt be any prouder of him!!

and of course, the STAR of the show... CRAZY FREDDY!! <3<3overall, everyone had a blast during the H1 hamster race! the screaming and the cheering got everyone pumped up! unforgettable experience of our sec 4 year :D
and of course, crazy freddy was returned to his rightful owner, bush's sister charlotte, and got back his original name-dale. we will miss you crazy freddy!!
